About

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I’m a West-to-East-Coast transplant, lover of sci-fi and fantasy, and new New Yorker who’s recently launched a career in book publishing.  Let me worry about that; you just enjoy this smaller great adventure into blogland.  Here be dragons, knights, magic, elves, and the occasional foray into slightly less geeky realms of pop culture.  With coffee. Lots of coffee. (For me, not you, although you’re welcome to join in….)

Find me on Twitter @stephlystein.

A note on reviews and the like: if I’m ever talking about a book I’ve worked on, I’ll say so.

You have just been given the dubious honor of receiving a Liebster Blog Award from DL Morrese. The award, if you wish to acknowledge it, may be viewed here. http://dlmorrese.wordpress.com/2011/11/26/liebster-blog-award/

Aww, thanks! I’m still fairly new to this whole blogoblagosphereworldthing, so I’ll have to take a bit to think about my own nominees. :)

    Hello Steph.

The font you used for your banner made me think it said Crunchy Oragon. Oragon sounds like that character from Lord of the Rings. I rather like the LotR films but can’t be bothered with the books.

    I also quite like coffee.

Haha–now that you say that, it also makes me think of Eragon from Christopher Paolini’s books… Not quite as awesome as Aragorn. Little did I realize when I was naming the blog, but “crunchy dragon roll” is a really common sushi menu item. Thanks, Google.
